Role/responsibilities : Design
and engineering of the control system hardware
including, APM, LM, UCN,
LCN, US, Marshalling and AC/DC power boards.
Design, engineering and implementation of control scheme for photo panel automation using assembly (8085) and C languages.
C. Project : 2 x 210MW PSEB Bhatinda
Client : PSEB Patiala
Duration : May 1996 to Feb. 1999
Role/responsibilities : Project
activities (May 1996 to June 1997)
Design, engineering and implementation of open loop control system (OLCS) constitute of sequence controls, permissives, protections and interlocks in the system using LM ladder programming, APM logic gates, CL programming and graphics for various equipment/motor drives like BFP, FDF, IDF, CWP, VALVES etc.
Design, engineering and implementation of close loop control schemes in the system using APM logic gates, control algorithms, CL programming and graphics for various process parameters like drum level, drive speed, furnace draft, etc.
Factory acceptance test of the system including,system hardware and software - CLCS, OLCS, Graphics, Ladder logic, Logic blocks, Logs and Reports with PSEB/TCE.
Implementation of optimisation calculations using C and C++ languages.
Successful installation, testing and commissioning of the control system and instrumentation package in the tight schedule of PSEB for two units of 210MW capacity each. Worked closely with process experts from PSEB.
